Syracuse Police had a busy weekend as a flow of “shots fired” continued, following the shooting death on Westcott Street, the afternoon of Friday. This weekend, on W. Colvin Street, shots fired and E. Fayette St., shots fired with injuries.
Shooting with Injuries on E. Fayette Street – Friday, October 23rd, 2020, at around 10:02 P.M., Officers responded to the 2000 block of E. Fayette Street for a shooting with injuries type call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 30’s male who had been shot in the mid-section. The male was transported to Upstate Hospital in critical condition.
Syracuse Police Respond to Shots Fired on W. Colvin St. – Saturday, October 24th, 2020, at around 4:06 A.M., Officers responded to the area of the 800 block of W. Colvin St. for a shots fired call. Upon arrival, an Officer began to search the area for a scene. Soon thereafter, gunshots rang out within proximity to the Officer. The Officer immediately took cover and observed a male firing at him multiple times. After the suspect shot at the police, the suspect fled the scene. The suspect has not been located at this time. There were no injuries to the Officer.
