Sign Up for City of Syracuse Parks Summer Camps

Syracuse NY- There is still time to register for many City of Syracuse Parks, Recreation and Youth Programs 2009 summer camps. Space is available in the Multi-Sport, Tennis, Lacrosse, Track & Field, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Golf and Strength and Conditioning Camps.

Full day camps are $40 per week for city residents and $90 for non-city residents and include transportation, lunch, and a shirt. Half-day camps are $25 per week for city residents and $50 for non-city residents per and include a t-shirt. Those interested in signing up can call the Parks Department at 473-4330.

See below for dates, times and age group requirements for each camp:

Multi-Sport Camp August 3rd thru August 7th- 9a.m. to Noon for ages 8 to 13

Tennis Camp 9:00 am to Noon for ages 8 to 14
I – Sunnycrest – July 13th thru July 17th
II – Burnet Park – July 20th thru July 24th
III – Meachem – July 27th thru July 31st
IV – Barry – August 3rd thru August 7th

Lacrosse Camp June 29th thru July 3rd – 9:00 am to 12 Noon for ages 8 to 15

Track & Field July 27th thru July 31st – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for ages 7 to 12

Soccer July 6th thru July 10th – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for ages 8 to 15

Basketball July 20st thru July 24th – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for ages 8 to 13

Baseball July 27th thru July 31st – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for ages 10 to 15

Golf Academy Each Friday, July 10th thru August 7th – 9:30 am to 1:00 pm for five weeks for ages 8 to 16
Strength and Conditioning Tuesdays & Thursdays, June 30th thru August 13th – 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. for ages 12 to 15
