Man Stabbed in Head with a Screwdriver – Thursday, March 18th, 2021, at around 8:25 P.M., Officers responded to the 1200 block of Butternut Street for a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 23-year-old male who was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver. The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive.
Shooting with Injuries in Tallman St./South Ave. Area-Friday, March 19th, 2021, at around 12:43 A.M., Officers responded to Upstate ER for a shooting with injuries investigation. Upon arrival, Officers located an 18-year-old male who was shot in the leg. The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital via private vehicle, and he is expected to survive. The reported incident location is in the area of Tallman St. / South Ave.
Shots Fired on loomis Ave. – Saturday, March 20th, 2021, at around 12:12 A.M., Officers responded to the 300 block of Loomis Avenue for a shots fired call. Upon arrival, Officers located evidence of a shots fired, and several casings were found. No damage or injuries were reported.
Police Respond to Elmwood Ave. Shooting, Victim Located and Hospitalized – Saturday, March 20th, 2021, at around 12:40 A.M., Officers responded to the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue for a fight call where shots were also reported to have been fired. Upon the arrival of the Officers, those involved in the fight began to disperse. Officers searched the area to investigate the shots fired call and located a discarded 9mm handgun with several casings nearby. A short time later, Officers were notified of a shooting victim at a residence in the 300 block of Wellesley Avenue related to this incident. Officers responded to that location and found a 31-year-old male who was shot in the arm and midsection. The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive.
