Statement from Governor Andrew M. Cuomo on Thanksgiving

“Thanksgiving is a time to come together with family, friends and loved ones to give thanks and reflect back on the year and all the good things that have come our way.

“We are at a point in time when this country faces enormous challenges and real anxiety, but we still live in the greatest state in the nation and the greatest nation on the globe and have many blessings to be thankful for.

“I am especially thankful for the opportunity to spend this holiday with my three daughters, and for the privilege of representing the people of this great state who time and again step up to help others in need and stand united in the face of hatred and division.

“From my family to yours, I wish everyone a happy and restful Thanksgiving.”
