Statement from Senator John W. Mannion on the 20th Anniversary of the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks

Syracuse – Senator John W. Mannion (D-Geddes) today released the following statement:

“We must never forget the horrors of September 11, 2001 or our obligation to the families of those we lost. This is a day of remembrance and respect. May it serve as a source of unity for the country and a reminder that we are all Americans.

“I’m honored to spend this solemn day standing shoulder to shoulder with Central New York heroes who put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. I cannot express my thanks enough to the police officers, firefighters, first responders, emergency personnel, active duty members of the military, and veterans from across the 50th Senate District. We honor your service and sacrifice today and every day.”
