Summer Festivals Fill the Syracuse Area with Outdoor Fun and Excitement

The summer festival season is at the midway point, as people converge on our community for some of the best entertainment and fun in the region. It’s a Syracuse summer, with events spanning the region, Clinton Square, Onondaga Community College, Oswego, or in various neighborhood celebrations, culminating with the Westcott Street Cultural Fair marking its 25th year in 2016.

The Lakeview Amphitheater has opened to a season of top name entertainment, bringing visitors from near and far spending money in our community giving the hospitality industry a much needed lift. The facility has already proven its worth; “if you build it, they will come” Lakeview has brought entertainers to Syracuse who’d normally pass us by.   The following are some of the many outdoor events taking place in the Syracuse area this summer.
