Syracuse, New York – Syracuse Hancock Airport Officials are advising all passengers that are scheduled to travel within the next few days to please check with their airline for flight status updates due to Hurricane Matthew.
Hurricane Matthew is an extremely powerful hurricane that is expected to impact eastern Florida and the U.S. East Coast starting Thursday and continuing into the weekend.
All of the airlines that are located at Syracuse International Airport have issued Travel Advisories to passengers that are scheduled to travel to the Caribbean, Bahamas and the Southern U.S. In most cases the airlines are offering waived change fees for travelers that are affected.
