Syracuse Bacon Festival Coming to Clinton Square August 19th

Syracuse, NY – A new food festival is coming to Syracuse.  The Syracuse Bacon Festival will be held on Saturday, August 19th in Clinton Square from noon to 11pm.  Admission is free.  Galaxy Events, the group that puts on the annual Taste of Syracuse event, is running this new festival.

The Bacon Festival will feature dozens of vendors serving fun bacon themed food.  Each food vendor will have something containing bacon on their menu.  Treats like bacon maple donuts, bacon mac n cheese, bacon wrapped scallops, bacon milkshakes and more will be available.  There will also be nonstop music from local musicians, an activity zone, beer, wine, and even a bacon dippin’ station with net proceeds going to a local charity.  For a list of vendors to date click Syracuse Bacon Festival Vendors.
