Syracuse City School District Receives ‘Cause for the Cuse’ Donation

More than 30 Syracuse City School District schools received school supplies, hygiene products and clothing, thanks to a generous donation from Terakeet’s Cause for the Cuse.

Cause for the Cuse volunteers raised $15,000, which was used to purchase products to be donated directly to SCSD students. Over the past few years, the group has contributed more than $75,000 in products to Syracuse City School students. Local business sponsors hosted or donated to fundraisers for this year’s cause, including the third annual Cause for the Cuse golf tournament, annual Holiday Sweater Party at Wolff’s Biergarten and more. Other sponsors and community partners include Original Grain, Urban Life Athletics, Wolff’s Biergarten, Apizza Regionale, The Stoop, Phoebe’s, Dinosaur BBQ, Darwin’s, Morgan Stanley and more.

The Syracuse City School District accepted the Cause for the Cuse donations at Franklin Elementary School (428 S. Alvord Street) on Thursday, April 11, 2019
