Syracuse City School District School Recognized by NYSED

Syracuse City School District

The Syracuse City School District is proud to announce that Syracuse Latin School has been selected by the New York State Department of Education as a Recognition School. Recognition schools are identified for having high academic achievement, student growth and graduation rates; as well as for making progress from year-to-year.

“We are so proud that the Syracuse Latin School has been selected as a NYSED Recognition School,” Superintendent Jaime Alicea said. “The school was recognized thanks to the hard work of its students, staff and families, and we are hopeful that it is the first of many Syracuse City School District schools that will be selected for this honor in the years to come!”
