Keith Cuttler named Chief Operating Officer. Derrick Murry named Chief Business Development Officer
Syracuse, NY, September 10, 2021 – Syracuse Community Health Center (SCHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving the Greater Syracuse area, today announced new leadership roles for the organization as it plans for future growth. SCHC has appointed Keith Cuttler as Chief Operating Officer and Derrick Murry was named Chief Business Development Officer. Mr. Cuttler will provide SCHC with operational leadership, management and ensure all procedures and systems are in place for effective growth. Mr. Murry will focus on building partnerships and expanding outreach programs in the community.
Mr. Cuttler is a highly accomplished healthcare executive with more than 30 years business experience. Most recently, he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at another FQHC and licensed Diagnostic Treatment Center in Upstate New York where he led the organization in all facets of healthcare operations. Prior to that position, he was a partner at a strategic consulting group that focused on the areas of healthcare marketing, strategy, and business growth. He also served as Chief Executive Officer at a startup he founded that supplied weight loss and wellness solutions to individuals and employee benefit plans.

Throughout his career, Mr. Murry has served in a variety of healthcare leadership roles focused on the management, operations, and business development of multi-specialty ambulatory care facilities. Prior to joining SCHC, Mr. Murry served as Chief Operating Officer at North Medical P.C./St. Josephs’s Physicians.

Founded in 1978, Syracuse Community Health Center (SCHC) serves approximately 30,000 patients each year. As a FQHC, we are a non-profit community-based health center dedicated to providing comprehensive primary care, dental and mental health services to residents of our area, especially to those who might have limited access to health care. We also assist patients in obtaining access to specialty and hospital care services not available at the Center.
