Syracuse PBA Unable to Deliver Holiday Baskets this year Due to COVID-19 Donates $2,500 to Syracuse Church Food Pantries

The Syracuse PBA will not be able to deliver food baskets this holiday season.  For over 40 years the Syracuse PBA has delivered food baskets to various families in our neighborhoods.  Unfortunately, this year we are unable to due to COVID-19 issues as well as restrictions placed on Green Hills Market by food distributors.  Understanding that 2020 has been a difficult year for many families we still wanted to help out our community, so the PBA has donated $2,500 to various church food pantries in Syracuse.

We hope the churches will be able to handle the demands placed on them this holiday season.  The PBA also doesn’t want families, many of whom are provided food each year and have come to rely on it, waiting by their doors on our usual delivery date.

The PBA would like to thank Green Hills Market for their vigorous attempts at obtaining food for our baskets and I’m confident in 2021 Green Hills Market and the PBA will team up to once again to service 275 families in the community.

Happy Holidays,

Jeff Piedmonte
President, Syracuse PBA
