Syracuse Police Department holding Fallen Heroes Ceremony for National Police Week 2021 at Foreman Park

On Monday, May 10th, at 10:00 am, at the Foreman Park police memorial, the Syracuse Police Department will be hosting a ceremony to honor former officers who have died in the line of duty. The ceremony is being held during Police Week, a congressionally established national celebration to honor Fallen Police Heroes. Syracuse Police Department Officers will be joined by Chief Kenton Buckner, Mayor Ben Walsh, and PBA President Joseph Moran. The event will include remarks from those involved, bagpipes, a wreath laying and a moment of silence.
