Syracuse Police Department Investigate James Street Bank Robbery

The Syracuse Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at the Chase Bank, located at 801 James St. in the City of Syracuse. At about 5:40 P.M. on Thursday, January 10, 2019, Syracuse Police Officers responded to the Chase Bank, located at 801 James St. for a call of a robbery. Their investigation revealed that a male suspect entered the bank, walked up to a teller, and presented a note demanding money. He then left the bank on foot in a Westerly direction through Rose Hill Cemetery with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as being a short black male in his mid-twenties, thin build, and was last seen wearing a grey hooded jacket with the hood pulled tightly over his head and face, and turquois pants. There are no photographs of the suspect available at this time.
