Syracuse Police Department Investigate N. Geddes St. Shooting near 690 Onramp

The Syracuse Police Department is investigating a shooting on N. Geddes St. On Sunday, January 13, 2019 at about 2:00 A.M., the Syracuse Police Department responded to Upstate University Hospital, where a 20 year old male victim had arrived in a private vehicle. Upon speaking to the victim, he stated that while riding in a vehicle on N. Geddes St., near the on-ramp to Rt. 690, he heard multiple gunshots, one of which struck him in the shoulder. He did not know where the shots came from, and could not provide any suspect information. His injury is considered non-life threatening.

This investigation is active and ongoing. Further information will be released when it becomes available.
