Syracuse Police Department to Host Public Forum on New Use of Force Policy

The Syracuse Police Department will host a public forum on its new Use of Force policy. Chief of Police Kenton Buckner and members of the police department will be joined by Mayor Ben Walsh and Deputy Mayor Sharon Owens.

Chief Buckner will give an overview of the new policy and will take comments and questions from residents.  Pastor Darren Jaime, a chaplain in the Department and pastor of People’s AME Zion Church, will act as facilitator for the community discussion.
