Syracuse Police Investigate Crash on Erie Blvd East

On January 6, at around 4:43 p.m., Officers responded to the 2500 block of Erie Blvd E. for a motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, Officers discovered a three-car crash.

Through investigation, it was revealed that a vehicle driven by Timothy Farrar, 56 , sideswiped a minivan and then hit the rear end of another car. After hitting the second vehicle, Farrar’s car then rolled over. Farrar was taken to the hospital subsequent to this crash.

Farrar was ticketed for failure to keep right and imprudent speed, as well as criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree for illegal drugs found in the car. ​
