Syracuse Police Investigate Early Morning Stabbing

The Syracuse Police Department is investigating a Stabbing. On Monday December 24, 2018, at about 4:42 A.M., Syracuse Police Officers responded to 241 Lafayette Rd. for a call of a stabbing. Upon their arrival, they met with a 22 year male who had been stabbed multiple times in his abdomen. He stated that he was approached by three males, who stabbed him and took his personal belongings. Although it is not clear exactly where, it appears this incident took place somewhere else, not at 241 Lafayette Rd.

The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital by AMR, where he underwent surgery for his injuries. He is currently listed in critical condition, but is expected to survive.

There is limited suspect information at this time. The only information is that they are three black males in their late teens or early twenties.
