Syracuse Police Investigate Shonnard St. Assault

The Syracuse Police Department is investigating an Assault. On Thursday, December 12, 2018, at about 6:45 P.M., Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 400 block of Shonnard St. for a call of a stabbing. Upon speaking to the 23 year old male victim, he stated that while he was walking in that area, he was approached by two unknown black males. As they approached, they began to argue. And during that argument, one of the males struck the victim in the back of the head with an unknown weapon, which caused a laceration to his head. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital by AMR Ambulance. His injury is considered to be non-life threatening, and he is listed in stable condition.

There is limited suspect information; only that they are two black males, wearing all black clothing, who were last seen running Eastbound on Shonnard St.
