Syracuse Police Respond to Warner Ave. for Shooting and Stabbing Call

On Sunday, August 16th, 2020, at around 10:08 P.M., Officers responded to the 200 block of Warner Ave. for a shooting with injuries call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 16-year-old male who had been shot in the leg. Officers also found a 17-year-old male who had several lacerations to his back and a 36-year-old female who had lacerations to her back and facial injuries from a fight. All parties were taken to Upstate Hospital for treatment, where they all are expected to survive.

The investigation revealed that a disturbance had taken place prior to police arrival. This is how the involved parties became injured. As a result, Takisha Hordge, 22, was arrested and charged with Assault in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree. Hordge was lodged at the Justice Center. Medeena Coley, 21, was arrested and charged with Harassment in the Second Degree for striking an Officer on scene. She was released on an appearance ticket.
