CONFERENCE SUMMARY

OCR_4005The New York State MWBE Forum is all about opportunities to make new professional connections, to learn new information, to become more competitive and to get new contracts.

Day 1 of the New York State MWBE Forum (“Forum”) will focus on examining new contract opportunities and exploring market sectors untapped by MWBEs. Be prepared to attend sessions led by public and private sector decision makers who will provide information on current and future procurement opportunities.

Day 2 of the Forum translates Day 1’s information into your own “how to” action plan for your company.

  • What types of capabilities and competencies will your company need to succeed in this market?
  • How can your company become more competitive?
  • How can your company become profitable?
  • How can you shape an effective business for public sector work?
  • Where are the challenges in your company’s market sector for entry and future success?

Through targeted, interactive action-agenda Industry Roundtables, Day 2 will help you answer these questions and share your suggestions and insights for improving the procurement process for MWBEs.
