Syracuse, N.Y. – Salt City Market Manager Adam Sudmann will discuss the diverse meal options at the new downtown food hall during a Zoom public forum from 8 to 9 a.m. Thursday hosted by Syracuse University’s Thursday Morning Roundtable. Originally scheduled to open in January, the market is in a former parking lot on South Salina Street across from the Marriott Downtown Syracuse. Revised opening is January 2021.
Salt City Market will feature several vendors operating in stalls offering cuisines from Jamaica, Vietnam, the Middle East, the American South, and more. The market will also host the Salt City Bar, a new cocktail venue associated with Salt City Coffee on West Onondaga Street.
Now in its 55th year, Thursday Morning Roundtable features speakers who discuss current events in Central New York. Following the forum, residents can use the chat function to ask questions and Emily Winiecki, community engagement coordinator for Syracuse University’s Office of Community Engagement, will moderate the Q&A session.
