Water Main Break to Affect Traffic on Harrison Street near Syracuse University


SU fans who park in Harrison Street/University Avenue area encouraged to use Manley North to avoid post Pitt basketball game delays

Syracuse, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse Water Department is repairing a water main break on Harrison Street near Syracuse University. The break occurred around 8:15 a.m. Saturday.

Repair work will result in the temporary closure of Harrison Street between Irving Avenue and Elizabeth Blackwell Street. Water pressure is being restored to users in the area.

Syracuse University basketball fans who park in the University Avenue Garage and the Harrison and Adams Street lots are encouraged to use Manley North parking for today’s game against Pittsburgh to avoid to anticipated traffic impacts on Harrison Street after the game.
