Westcott Street Cultural Fair: 23 Years Celebrating Neighborhood Pride, Sunday September 21, 2014

The Westcott Street Cultural Fair is an annual, one-day celebration of the diversity and uniqueness of the Westcott neighborhood through its culture: visual and performing arts, food, service organizations and activities geared to families and Syracuse and LeMoyne students returning to the neighborhood. The fair attracts more than 8,000 people annually to the Westcott Business District in mid-September for a day filled with great sounds, sights, tastes and more.

The fair takes place on Westcott Street, in between Concord Street and Dell Street, as well as some of the side streets off Westcott.  The event will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2014, 12:00 – 6:30 PM (Streets re-open at 7 PM).

Westcott Street Cultural Fair Logo

In its 23th year, the Westcott Street Cultural Fair has become a tradition in the neighborhood. Since 1992, the fair makes a statement of neighborhood pride. The Fair’s mission is to support local artists and performers, to build a strong sense of community among the diverse people who live and work here, and to celebrate Westcott as a great place to work, shop, socialize and play.
