On Friday, November 11 from 6-8 pm Onondaga Community College is offering up a free sneak peek, tour and delicious samples from its new workforce training restaurant at 435 N Salina Street, in the heart of the city’s North Side.
The cuisine will change every 6 months, each time reflecting the national or regional cuisine of a ‘restaurateur in residence’ sponsored by CenterState CEO. Our first cuisine comes from Pakistan, cooked with love by Sarah Robin. Some dishes will be traditional – others will be variations, interpreted by our team to take advantage of CNY ingredients and teach our students the full range of cooking techniques they need to succeed in the full range of food service establishments.
After this initial ‘sneak peek’ “With Love…” will open for business on Friday, December 2. Initial hours will be Tuesday-Wednesday lunch from 12-2 and Thursday-Friday dinner from 5-8 pm with expanded hours to come later on in 2017.
